PLAN AND PROGRAM:

Day 1: Zagreb/Rijeka – Rim

Departure from Zagreb at 5:00 a.m., and from Rijeka from Vrata Jadran at 7:30 a.m.
Driving through Gorski Kotar towards Rome with stops along the way.
Arrival in Rome and hotel accommodation.
Departure with the tour guide to the Spanish Steps and a walk through the famous streets of Rome.
Return to the hotel by public transport for the night.

Day 2: Rome – Breakfast at the hotel

Sightseeing of Rome on foot and by subway with a tour guide.
A visit to the church of San Pietro in Vincoli and a tour of the ancient part of the city including the Roman Forum and the Colosseum.
Visit to the Capitol and the Altar of the Motherland.
Free time for lunch at Navona Square.
Visit to the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps.
Return to the hotel by public transport for the night.

Day 3: Rome – Vatican Breakfast at the hotel

Visit to the Square of St. Peter, Basilica of St. Peter and the possibility of visiting the dome for a panoramic view of Rome.
Visit to the Vatican Museums (tickets with extra charge when paying for the package) with a local guide in Croatian.
Free time for sightseeing in the Vatican and its surroundings.
Return to the hotel by public transport for the night.

Day 4: Day 4: Rome – Orvieto – Rijeka/Zagreb – Breakfast and check-out from the hotel

Departure to Umbria and a visit to the picturesque town of Orvieto.
Visiting Orvieto and seeing its sights including the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta.
Free time for lunch and exploring the city.
Return to Croatia.
Arrival in Zagreb is expected in the late evening hours.

The Vatican Museums and the Basilica of St. Petra can have queues, so you should be prepared to wait.
The schedule of visits to the Vatican may vary depending on the museum’s availability.
Departures from Karlovac and Rijeka are available with prior notice.
The price, tickets, additional services and details such as the time of entry to the Vatican Museums will be more precisely stated in the travel material or the final letter that you will receive before the trip. Also, the minimum number of passengers required for the trip is 40, and the maximum number is 58.

The price of the trip includes the following:

The price does not include the following:

Tickets for the objects visited during the sightseeing, such as the Vatican Museums, the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and the Palatine Hill.
Additional contents and costs not provided for in the program, such as drinks, additional meals, telephone, tickets for public city transport, etc.
Tourist tax, which will be an additional cost per person per night and the exact amount will be specified in the final letter.
Devices with headphones for sightseeing in Rome and the Vatican, which are charged additionally per person per day.
Ticket to the Vatican Museums, which includes the rental of headphones and reservation of an appointment with a local guide in Croatian/Serbian.
Return cable car ride to Orvieto, which is also an additional cost per person.
Surcharge for a single room, if the person sleeps alone in the room.
Tipping drivers and guides, which is optional but recommended as a sign of satisfaction with the service.
Travel insurance, including insurance against the consequences of an accident, travel illness, damage and loss of luggage, insurance in case of trip cancellation and insurance that covers the costs of assisting and returning passengers to their place of origin in case of accident and illness.
